Reeth Village Green
Reeth Village Green is the view from the front of my
house. I am in the picture, sitting working on a rug. Many friends
are depicted in this scene which is made of hand-dyed fabrics
and tweeds.

Jackdaw and Jeans
Jackdaw and Jeans was taken from a photograph my son
took of his pet jackdaw. Sweaters were used, cut at 1/2".

When I was a Lad
When I was a Lad is a picture of the men sitting in
Reeth shelter. They sit every day putting the world to rights:
locally it is called the Houses of Parliament! The man telling
the story is Fremmy Hutchinson, a great friend of mine. He was
the last lead miner and has since died.

Millennium Night
Millenium Night is the view of the village Reeth at
midnight. We are all standing watching the clock at midnight
with fireworks going off. The words of the millennium prayer
are depicted in the sky among the fireworks: Peace, Love, Respect,
Forgiveness. Wool and sparkly fabrics were used.
